The minimum rental period is two calender months.
We reserve the right to refuse any person a rental at our own discretion.
If there are no rental dopplers available at the time of order, we will inform you immediately. You will then be able to choose between waiting for the next available doppler, or cancelling your agreement (at no cost to yourself).
Once the doppler has been delivered you have seven working days in which you can email us to cancel the rental. We will refund you in full but do ask that you pay the return registered postage or courier.
We must be kept informed of any changes to contact details. This includes your address, phone number and email address.
If become late with a rental payment, we will email you (or write to you/telephone you if you do not have an email address). It is your responsibility to maintain your payments and to check your emails (or mail/telephone messages) throughout your period of rental.
If your payment becomes one month late, we will bill you an administration charge of EUR11.00 (in addition to the rental owed). If your payment becomes two months late we will inform you by letter and reserve the right to charge interest on the amount owed at a rate of EUR2.00 per day.
Non-return of a rental item is theft. If a doppler or payment is two or more months late we will proceed with legal action to recover the equipment and monies owed. You will be liable for all costs incurred in this process, including a mandatory EUR44.00 administration fee.
If a rental doppler is in stock, we will usually deliver within two working days. If, however, goods are not received by you within 30 days you will receive a full refund.
The doppler remains the property of Baby Beats at all times except when the rental is converted into a sale.
You are responsible for the care of the doppler until it has been returned. You may keep the gel (unless you are cancelling your rental – see above). However, please include the battery and return the doppler in its original packaging.
The doppler must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. If the doppler requires repair or replacement not covered by the warranty, we may bill you for the repair or replacement.
If you decide to purchase the doppler the warranty will be back-dated to the start of the rental period. Warranty for an ex-rental doppler is one year.
If you have not contacted us by email, telephone or letter by the end of the current month’s rental to arrange the return of the doppler you will be billed for the following month’s rental.
You will authorise an initial payment of two month’s rental, by doing so you also authorise Baby Beats to debit your card for the subsequent rental payments, for a maximum of three payments.
This five month agreement allows you to hire purchase a doppler. Alternatively, you can return the doppler at any time, at which point the payment agreement will be cancelled, and no more payments will be taken. If, through error, you are billed after returning it we will credit you in full the wrongly debited amount.
When returning the doppler a service that provides a tracking number must be used or proof of postage obtained. Please retain proof of postage for your own protection in the event of a dispute.
